In an effort to avoid total spoiler meltdown, I started busting apart my crappy furniture so I could haul it downstairs and leave it for garbage pickup (311 told me tomorrow is garbage day!). Huff puff wheeze. Said activity culminated in me hauling my piece of shit waste of money queen sized box spring down three flights of stairs all by my little self. Huh!
MMFFT! Er, I can't believe you're reading it now and I'm not!!! This is torture, argh!
*off fuck gets the intranets*

OK IF YOU CAN BELIEVE IT THE WHOLE GODDAMN BOOK BEFORE FRIDAY NIGHT IS EVEN A LITTLE MUCH FOR ME.
ARGH!
It's like telling me Umbridge is evil and everyone hates her but not telling me she makes Harry write lines with that wicked pen.
Oh, this is difficult.
Besides, I should be packing.

Oops. There went my resolve to remain unspoiled for Book 7.
[ETA] Obviously I will not post anything to my journal without a cut. I'm not that obnoxious. Can't make any guarantees for comments but I'll try.

Regardless of my quibbles, the movie totally has me chomping at the bit for book 7 which I would like right now this very second please.
All I want is for Ron to live. Weasley is my king!

Attempt at drama creation merits two thumbs down. Don't try again.
In other news, I attempted to make pie crust today. Er, it rather didn't work.

Went to the Met this past weekend to finally see the re-opened Roman galleries. Ooh eeh. Lovely.

Wizzard, I finally went to 'Wichcraft. Had the grilled gruyere and carmelized onions sandwich. Was very good. As I was in prime tourist land (people, STOP BLOCKING THE SIDEWALK!) I took some crappy cell phone pics.

Next they'll take the eyebrows and then where will we be?

Hey, look, my first ever vid! And boy does it show. Do I get a B for effort? It's Nathan and Hiro and it's rather long. But you know, it's Nathan and Hiro!

Took cat #1 to the vet today. He is in fine health! Although he needs his teeth cleaned. But! He is still talking to me after the traumatic experience, which is good. We shall see how cat #2 reacts.
Then I bought a whoopie pie and an iced coffee and wandered over to Prospect Park, which I had previously managed to visit a grand total of once in my 2 years of living in Brooklyn. Very nice, very nice. Some guy had his rabbit with him.
Now it's raining so I can't go grocery shopping.
Anyroad! Time for Heroes! I am not the greatest when it comes to speculating about things; frankly, I suck at it. But I have been cultivating some crack theories.
1. Sylar and Peter are brothers. Reasoning? Who cares. Ah no, well, seriously, there are so many parallels between them, starting with their base power, which allows both of them to have other powers. They just, uh, acquire them in different ways.
2. Nathan will wind up in Japan with Hiro. Why? Because it would rock.
3. Oh, well. That's it really. I'm going to miss the emo bangs next season. :(
Share your crack theories! Please?

I had salted caramel custard at Shake Shack tonight. Mmmm. And then I bought my plane ticket. One way. Eeek! I'm just going to sit in the corner and panic now.
P.S. July 22, Wizzard, FYI.

Don't mind me. I'm just posting so I can admire my mood theme and my nice banner, both of which I made all by my little self.
On another note, I am moving (after I get the plane tix, hah hah) in under 7 weeks. I'll be freaking out about it soon (idon'treallywanttoleavenycohgod!!!).

Tra la la. I am bored. And it's only 9:40. Oh, sigh.
Well, let me then post about Heroes, as I have something on my mind.
One of the things I really like about Heroes is the ability of the main male characters to express and admit to emotion. Usually this is considered a bad thing for male characters but Heroes doesn't shy away from it. You of course have Peter, the ultimate emotional outputter, but even Nathan gets in on the act (the finale! I loved that part and not just for any Flying Bangs hints. It was truly something lovely to see). There's DL, admitting that he can't manage with Micah on his own and Matt, admitting something is wrong with his marriage and wanting to work on it (unlike his wife!!!). Noah, petrified he'll lose Claire and his family. Geico Dude gets in on the act as well.
Even Sylar is presented as ostensibly just wanting some approval from his mother though I think that's not really the case. The only person Sylar wants approval from is himself.
But I digress. (Eyebrows!)
Back to emotional men, I hope this isn't something they try to change next season. I'll be honest and say that Peter cutting his hair (the bangs!!!) makes me a wee nervous as it's supposedly being presented as Peter "maturing." To which I say, wtf? Peter wasn't that immature to begin with and WHY DID THEY HAVE TO TAKE THE BANGS? WHAT'S NEXT? SYLAR'S EYEBROWS? I fear they might think Peter not being as open to expressing his ~*~feelings~*~ would be another sign of maturity. Teevee is not always good with these things.

Took more crappy cell phone pics during my wanderings today. I went allllllll the way over to Broad Street (fighting tourists all the way! Heeyah!) to get a sandwich from Pret a Manger. Ah, the travails of the urban warrior.

Ignoring all common sense I spent the weekend watching Heroes instead of studying for finals.
Oh well. Whatever.
I have no idea what will happen tomorrow night (HOMG!) but my guess is that it won't be happy times. Gotta go out with a bang. Plus, the nature of the show allows the writers to bring anyone back or start over again, etc. etc. (Except Niki, plz. And Matt's wife. And Mama Petrelli. Y'all can go away and never come back.)
